It all started when From the Future hosted a “VR in the medical field” meetup. The event attracted a surprisingly large group of doctors, physical therapists, VR coders…and a behavior technician.
After an incredible demonstration of using a VR fantasy game as a motivating medium for physical rehabilitation, From the Future asked that the attendees break into groups with a mixture of professionals from each field. The night’s task: collaborate to invent more ways VR can be medically utilized.
The ideas from each group were thoughtful and practical, but ultimately Bright Mosaic’s approach to therapy took center stage. The two companies met in person to discuss and three months later, a prototype was born!
